Our Policy
Welcome to the Fidelity virtual experiences (the “Experiences” and each, an “Experience”) operated by Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT)℠ , some services of which may be provided by Fidelity Labs LLC (“Fidelity Labs”), a Fidelity Investments company (collectively, “Fidelity”, “we” “us”, “our”). Each Experience is designed for personal, non-commercial use by individuals in the United States who are at least 18 years of age and all access and use of the Experience is subject to and governed by our Terms of Service.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, share, or otherwise process Personal Information in the course of operating and making each Experience available to you on the Oculus platform. Any information collected from or about you by Oculus is governed by the Oculus Privacy Policy.
“Personal information” as used in this Policy means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to a specific natural person. Personal Information may include “Oculus User Data” or “Device User Data” (both terms as defined by Oculus) but it does not include information that is considered de-identified or aggregated by applicable law.
“Oculus User Data” means any data, information, or content that is about or associated with a person, device, or unique identifier (including anonymized or hashed user IDs) that Fidelity obtained from Oculus.
“Device User Data” means any data, information, or content that is about or associated with a person, device, or unique identifier (including anonymized or hashed user IDs) that is obtained by Fidelity directly from an Oculus device (including microphone or camera data, or headset position or hand tracking data).
Together, Oculus User Data and Device User Data are referred to as “User Data.”
1. The Types of Information We Collect.
We only collect information from you when you voluntarily provide it to us during your use of an Experience. Specifically, each time you initiate the Retirement Readiness Journey Experience, you are asked to provide the following inputs using preset ranges and that, in your discretion, may or may not include your Personal Information: age, current salary, retirement savings, contribution rate, and investment styles. As you progress through the Experience, you are also asked to choose between preset responses to various life event questions and your responses, in your discretion, may or may not include your Personal Information.
We do not currently collect or process any User Data.
2. How We Use the Information We Collect; How Long We Hold your Information; Sharing
We use the information we collect from you during each Experience session to operate and provide the Experience to you. When you exit or complete an Experience session, all your inputs and choices for that Experience session are cleared from your Oculus device and are not stored by Fidelity or shared by Fidelity with any third party.

4. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Fidelity may amend this Privacy Policy to ensure it is consistent with any developments to the way Fidelity uses your personal information or to address any changes to applicable laws and regulations. The updated Privacy Policy will be posted on this page. All interactions with Fidelity shall be subject to the latest version of this Privacy Policy.
